The purpose of the NHESA mission is to promote professional development/education, and provide direction, information, and collaboration within the health and exercise industry. NHESA will further its purpose by providing scholarships opportunities for students and professionals and the development of program initiatives.

Designed to adapt and grow with the health and exercise science industry, NHESA is positioned to recognize and promote positive growth and change within the industry.

The primary service of the National Health and Exercise Science Association is promotion of health and exercise science resources/services, education, professional development, and public participation in proactive health.

The National Health and Exercise Science Association primary focus is to promote participation in proactive health to the community.
Join NHESA
Join NHESA, as we bring everyone in the Health and Exercise Science Industry together for our Health Promotion in Action Initiative in order to eliminate health disparities and increase the quality of life nationwide. NHESA’s Health Promotion in Action 2020 initiative is in direct support of the United States Government’s Healthy People 2020 initiative.
NHESA is committed to the development of a Proactive Health Community that is dedicated to proactive participation in health promotion. Health Promotion in Action 2020 will focus on the following strategies as we form our Proactive Health Network for a greater cause:
Health Education, Health Communication, Self Help, Advocacy/Public Policy, Community and Organizational Development.
